My fiancé, Jason, and I have this crazy dream of picking up and moving across the globe to Amsterdam. We've never even been but we daydream about walking along the canals, visiting the art galleries, experiencing new restaurants, and especially the seeing the beautiful architecture. I know he's as into this dream as I am because he didn't walk into another room when I was watching the overseas portion of America's Next Top Model Cycle 11.
Anyway, I stumbled across this photo and couldn't help but be reminded of some of the images I've seen of beautiful large windows and amazing architectural details. I don't think this photo is actually of a bedroom in Amsterdam but it still gives me that impression.

Unfortunately I can't find any more pictures from this home (I'll keep looking) but I will leave you with some cool examples of Amsterdam design.
I love the different kinds of wood utilized in this hotel suite: the dark floors, petrified wood tables, detailed cabinets, lamps with polished fossilized wooden bases, and wooden shutters. The layering of many elements like velvet and leather in this space make this room look really lush.

Not to sound like a real estate agent, but here's the good news about the next few pictures... you can rent the apartments for vacation!
